Hey everyone, Paradise Visuals is back. Half of you just said “Paradise who?” but the old guys like who remember porn in the mid-80's just perked up. Back in the days or Traci, Ginger and Christy, PV put out some very memorable movies. The first movie I ever popped into a VCR was a PV movie. (WPINK-TV) and they put out several of the best Traci flicks made during her short career. Having those titles pulled from the shelves left Paradise Visuals with some great scenes that couldn't be used. It seemed a shame that Ms. Lords' caper would deprive porn fans of some great non-Traci scenes. They quickly figured out what to do and edited together much of the lost footage for “Ginger Lynn: The Movie.” One such lost scenes features pretty little Ginger working with the legendary John Holmes. Though the original compilation was released in 1988, this DVD version has some new stuff on it. They have gone out and done new interviews with Ginger, Christy and Ron Jeremy.

Ginger opens the movie by sitting down across from an agent played by John Holmes. (From the movie “Those Young Girls.”) With no experience at all, she is perfect for porn. John takes a call and when he turns around, Ginger is naked and spread for his pleasure. Yep, she is perfect all right. He dives in and has lunch with the pretty blonde, eating her hot pussy and bringing her to that trademark state of panting and tummy flexing. When John whips out his huge tool, Ginger does a good job of pretending to be shocked. (Maybe this was the first time she saw it, I'm not sure.) Even with both hands around his meat, there is still plenty sticking out and Ginger does a wonderful job of working it up as much as possible. Ginger goes out on her first photo shoot and does really well. Things move quickly and get footage of her posing for the camera and then for a music video with Harry Reems. The action cuts to Ginger already being plowed hard from behind by Tom Byron. They fuck in doggy for a bit before he unloads on her. We gut again to an orgy where Ginger is taking on two guys and two other couples are going at it just a few feet away. I never really liked scenes that jump around this much, but Ginger does some interesting pit-fucking as both guys slide between her ribs and arms. She also gets more on cream on her face though the shots aren't particularly well captured by today's standards.

Later that evening (according to the graphics on screen) Tom Byron gets to enjoy Crystal Breeze, Beverly Bliss and Shari St. Claire. They take turns on his dick and though the action jumps around a lot, Tom dishes it out evenly. I always loved Shari's performances and Crystal had one of the most perfect bodies in the history of porn. Beverly didn't do anything for me, but she gets Tom off in a semi-cream pie ending.

Still later that night, Ginger gets her mouth around Jamie Gillis' rod. Christy joins the action and gets fucked before her blonde partner. This early Christy scene is rather sleepy. She also fucks Rick Savage in a Backdoor Bride scene that is very hot. Anyone who likes chicks in wedding dresses will love the way she takes it up her ass from Rick. The third scene also features Brit as a bride, this time fucking Marc and Tom again. Anyone who likes Ms. Stryker will enjoy this great little extra.

We also get a great interview with Christy Canyon and Ron Jeremy. She can't really play any more, but they still have fun on camera together. The other interviews include a long sit down history lesson with Bill Margold. Anyone interested in the history of porn will want to check this out. Ginger Lynn also sits down for the camera in a new interview. She also takes us back through the history of her experience with Paradise Visuals. Christy also adds her point of view to the discussion. Listening to Bill, Ron, Ginger and Christy talk about porn for an hour might not be for everyone, but I found it to be really interesting. If you have the time, definitely sit down and listen to this great feature.

I got so caught up in all of the bonus features that I almost forgot to wrap up this review. Obviously this movie is for people who either want to see Ginger in her early days or who want to complete their 80's porn collection on DVD. The scenes were shot twenty years ago so they may not stack up by today's standards. On the other hand, young Ginger and Christy can hold their own with anyone. Ginger does great work with just about everyone of course, including Holmes and North. Christy is a little lackluster except when she is fucking Peter North. He brings out the best in her and she shows us one of the best bodies ever. I liked this movie a long time ago and I really like the new DVD version. Any collector or Ginger fan will want this to complete a collection. Additionally, anyone interested in the history of porn will want to pick it up for the great round-table interviews included in the bonus material.

The only one whose performance was above and beyond the callof duty was the star herself, Miss Ginger Lynn. With younglooks and enough energy to bounce all over the bed, she isthe one performer in this video who is truly worthy ofthe highest honors. Her technique for oral gratification,it should be pointed out, was TREMENDOUS.
One point of notice: John Holmes in the video as well. It isno secret that he can leave quite a mess after releasinghis genetic code on top of a female partner--this is a speciallyentertaning sight when the landing site happens to be thefemale partner's face.
Well, here the position was correct, the aim was correct, andthe girl was even more correct: Ginger herself. Still, onlytwo or three anemic spurts come out of John, almost ruiningwhat was perhaps one of the best situations for a facial.
It was not completely ruined because, after all, Ginger'sface did receive the "Holmes treatment," but after seeing themess he left on Cicciolina in "Rise of the Roman Empress" itis simply dissapointing.

Weird production values, if clever. This is actually more ofa compilation tape featuring scenes with Ginger, but it waseditied in such a way that it seems like this is a newproduction with a new plot.
The plot that is being attempted is that of Ginger trying tobecome a Hollywood model. It follows a fairly common premise:Unknown girl (Ginger) gets an interview with studio producer(Holmes). She has no portfolio (no pictures of herself, thatis), and no experience in modeling. Still, after fuckingHolmes she's up for stardoom.
This, of course, is a very formulaic theme (it was also donein "Starlets", with Christy Canyon. )
After the second scene starts the editing. The third sceneseems to be from another video called "Night of the LivingDangerously" which featured Traci Lords during her underageyears. This video is also Christy Canyon's very first adultvideo.
Well, the third sceme seems to be from this video, apparentlyin an attempt to keep the material from the original productionas a selling product despite the cutting of the Traci Lordsmaterial.
That third scene features Ginger Lynn and Christy Canyon laterjoined by Peter North. Now, listen carefully:
In an interview Christy Canyon said that that scene withGinger Lynn and Peter North was her very first porn scene ever. Judging for her visibly inexperienced demeanor, and her incrediblythin looks, I would say this is about right.
This means that if you are a Christy Canyon fan and you arewondering if you'll ever be able to see Christy's firstscene ever, well, THIS IS IT! This is your lucky day!

It's great! Mainly because Ginger really does a wonderful job in each and every one of her scenes. The amount of energydisplayed by her in every fellatio and in every case of copulation is simply remarkable.

Ginger Lynn, and, of course, the fact that Christy Canyon's first scene ever is there for fans to see. She didn't performquite as well as she would do in most of her future videos, but it was a "collectors item" nonetheless.

No complaints really. Maybe the only complaint is that the copy of the video was slighly badly recorded, but I guess that'sa matter for the production company to deal with and not the performers or the director.

A definite 10. While it is a compilation tape it was a veryclever way to put it together.

Starring: Ginger Lynn is in every scene with many of the true legendary names of porn. Ginger is her usual outstanding self. Her performances with John Holmes, Peter North, Jamie Gillis, Harry Reems, and Christy Canyon are extremely hot!

The overall production value was quite good gor the period.

The movie has a bit of a compilation feel to it although it is plotted as Ginger's story of getting into the biz. The oral scene with Holmes is excellent. Ginger's three way with Canyon and Gillis is very hot and makes use of a not too typical position. The overall erotic value is about 8 1/2 out of ten.

Ginger!!!!! She is at her playful and sweet best. This is a necessary purchase for any serious Ginger freak!

Very little. The concluding scene is not the strongest of the flick.

The film is at least a 7 for any video fanatic and a must see 9 1/2 for Ginger fans
